Your responsibilities:
- Development and design of components and assemblies with a focus on prototype and near-series production
- Selection of suitable manufacturing processes and materials for specific applications
- Implementation of innovative ideas in rapid prototyping, especially in 3D printing
- Performance of FEM analyses for the evaluation and optimisation of components
- Consideration of thermal requirements and development of efficient solutions in the field of thermal management
- Creation of CAD models and technical drawings
- Independent project work from idea to implementation
- Close cooperation with manufacturing, electronics development and product design.

Your Profile:
- Completed training or degree in mechanical engineering, product development or similar
- Several years of professional experience in design and working with manufacturing technologies
- Experience with FEM analysis tools (e.g. ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation or similar)
- Very good understanding of thermal management (e.g. cooling, material selection, thermal simulation)
- Confident use of CAD systems (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar)
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing processes, in particular 3D printing (FDM, SLA, SLS, etc.), is desirable
- A good understanding of materials, their properties and areas of application is desirable
- Creative thinking, a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently.
